The creator / founder of Onesole

Dominique McClaine Barteet is the lady behind Onesole shoes / Quick Change Artist which were the first interchangeable shoes on the market. Many tops are made in Palm Beach, Florida – the home of Onesole.

The fact they have been going so long (2002) means there is a huge array of tops to choose from – we sell their stretchy neoprene tops for max comfort!

Dominique created the swap top shoes to meet her own needs. She’s a Pharmacist often on her feet 12 hours a day so comfort was a big factor plus she travelled extensively so needed the convenience of not having to pack a hoard of shoes every trip. She has managed to combine fashion, comfort, versatility and convenience!

The shoes have been a great success and there are many tops collectors out there. Just imagine how wonderful it is that you could go on a long cruise and wear a different shoe effectively every day!

Care instructions

Onesole tops

We recommend to hand wash the tops gently with cold water and let air dry. You can further protect your tops with scotch guard or any fabric protector.

Onesole soles

We recommend the soles can be washed with a mild soap and water and wiped dry with a soft fabric cloth.
